Primabol-100 is an injectable version of the steroid methenolone enanthate. The enanthate ester is used to slow the release of the steroid from the injection site. Methenolone enanthate has a similar steroid release pattern to testosterone enanthate, with blood levels of the hormone remaining markedly elevated for about 2 weeks. Methenolone itself is a moderately strong anabolic steroid with very low androgenic properties. Its anabolic effect is considered to be somewhat less than that of nandrolone decanoate on a per milligram basis. Methenolone enanthate is most often used in contraction cycles where the primary goal is to gain lean mass rather than increase raw mass.
